Hunter's WaterAid wellies now available
17 July 2008 WaterAid is thrilled to be working in partnership with Hunter Boot, the nation's favourite wellington boot maker. Hunter launched the partnership with an exciting limited-edition WaterAid welly for Glastonbury 2008. The specially designed boots were worn at the festival by an array of celebrities, including KT Tunstall, The Subways and The Fratellis. Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis, convinced that the festival would be mud free (he was wrong!), even auctioned off his pair and raised £100 for WaterAid! You can purchase your very own pair of the limited-edition boots from the Hunter website, www.hunter-boot.com. A generous contribution of £50 from each pair sold goes to WaterAid, helping transform the lives of those currently living without access to safe water or sanitation.
