Roving Funding Coordinator

It’s hard to believe that today 844 million people do not have clean water and 2.3 billion do not have a decent toilet – around one in three of the world’s population. Every two minutes a child under five dies from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation.

As part of its significant increase of investment into generating institutional funding, WaterAid UK is recruiting the exciting and important new role of Roving Funding Coordinator to bolster its capacity and capability at country level.

Working within the Institutional Funding and Partnerships Team, you will help us to respond to requests for support and assistance in planning, securing, and managing programme funding for development programmes in different countries around the world where WaterAid operates.  Your main responsibilities will include leading and developing funding strategies, and ensuring effective coordination at country and regional level to ensure adequate overview of funding, proposal submissions and donor liaison.  You will also lead or support on negotiating donor contracts favourably in line with WaterAid’s policies and procedures. • have the ability to represent WarterAid to donors and other external institutions,
