Videography competition on "What does water mean to you?"

Water is not just essential for survival; it's a fundamental human right. However, only 59% of people in Bangladesh have access to safely managed water. To advocate for the rights of water for all and to mark the World Water Day 2024, WaterAid is organising an online video competition. The competition calls for young WASH leaders to showcase their talent by talking about their opinion on “What does water mean to you?” 

We inspire creativity which is why we are not specifying how the participant wish to represent the content but here are some rules of the competition participants need to comply with:

  • Both Bangla and English content for the video will be accepted
  • The video has to be within one minute
  • Directors/ makers of the films/ stories can be single or group (maximum four persons)
  • Each participant can submit a maximum of two film/ stories.
  • Films/ stories screened or participated in other festivals/ competitions can also be submitted.
  • All films/ stories must be submitted in .mov/ .avi/ .mp4 format.
  • Any device or software may be used in post-production, such as video and audio editing, color correction, and special effects.
  • Stop motion animation film is acceptable.
  • Use of any copyrighted materials is prohibited.
