Endline study of Climate Resilience WASH Programming in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh
The endline study finds there is increase in household access to improved water sources from baseline (90.8%) to endline (94%). There is 5% increase in the number of households, to be exact 50% household of the project area uses PSF as a source of drinking water. Around 63% of the households in the study area have improved sanitation facilities which is 8 percentage points higher in comparison to the national coverage in rural Bangladesh which is 54.5%. Further, if we compare with baseline situation of open defecation and hanging latrine have reduced in endline by 4%.
