Emergency response for the forcibly displaced Rohingya population from Myanmar: A synthesis of WaterAid’s contribution

In August 2017, military attacks on the population of the Rakhine state in Myanmar triggered a mass flight of people to the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. The “Emergency response for the forcibly displaced Rohingya population from Myanmar “-A synthesis of WaterAid’s contribution documents the processes of engagement of WaterAid in the Rohingya influx and, showcases the footprints that we have successfully made through our 18 month’s engagement. It also highlighted the factors that leads us to get involved in this emergency reposes despite of being a development focus organization. This documentation also identifies the challenges that we had to addressed during the actions and capture the learning to be used in our further programmatic improvement.
