In WaterAid Pakistan, we emphasise on consolidation of the past programme accomplishments, replication and scaling-up successful models for sustainability.
The main thrust of WaterAid’s work is to create a positive enabling environment through promoting policy and practice in WASH. In Pakistan, the projects advocate for the improvement of WASH services for all by enabling appropriate, demand-driven, sustainable and scalable interventions. WaterAid works with communities to secure clean water sources that are protected from contamination. WaterAid also develops evidence-based communications strategies to change the behaviours of individuals and to provide guidance for coordinated WASH programming.
