This set of lesson plans and materials introduces pupils to the idea of natural resources, and examines how water is used both at home and in countries which struggle with access to clean water.

Pupils are tasked with finding out as much as they can about water around the world, and how WaterAid are helping communities like Solomon's (above) which lack access to this precious resource.

The lesson plans are particularly useful for KS2 Geography and PSHE, and can be used as the basis for a number of lessons. Teachers are given the choice whether to cover all aspects of the plans, or just a few.

Kickstart the activities by engaging pupils in the interactive game, the Water Family.
