Imagine if this was the only water available for your family

This Winter, our goal is to provide sustainable clean water and sanitation access to 250,000 people. 

For the villagers of Tombohuaun, one of the villages in our appeal, the solution is three-step:

1. Build a well in the heart of the village
2. Install decent toilets made with local materials
3. Train the community on the importance of good hygiene which will positively impact them for years to come.

This is our approach to generational change and it means moms like Fatmata (above) won't live in fear of losing another child. 

With the help of amazing people like you, we're working with our partners in some of the toughest places in the world, places like Tombohuauan.

Since 1981 and with your support, we've already reached millions of people with clean water, sanitation and hygiene, the three essentials, enabling entire communities to unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.

Since 1981 we have reached 23 million people with clean water and since 2004 a further 21 million people with sanitation.

And we're just getting started...
