Staff retreat

WaterAid Ethiopia went for its annual staff retreat to Arbaminch from 1-4 March 2020. 31 staff hopped on the bus for the journey.

While travelling, we were blessed with a lot of laughs and songs, especially from the backbenchers who were hot all along the way. Olutayo Bankole-Bolawole, Regional Director, WaterAid East Africa said in her Skype message: "as Ethiopia is a priority country, I encourage you to optimize your delivery to help achieve our vision by 2030 with a focus on sustainability".

During the retreat we talked through the Mid-Term Review findings to establish the achievements we can celebrate and the limitations we will try and fix in the coming months and years. Staff had the chance to visit Dorze village, Chamo Lake and the springs in Arbaminch, which the town is named after. It was a memorable day!
