WaterAid Australia Chief Executive Rosie Wheen appeared on BBC World News’ Newsday program on World Water Day on 22 March 2018 to talk about WaterAid’s new report, The State of the World’s Water 2018: The Water Gap.

The report reveals the nations with the lowest access to water and shows Eritrea, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Ethiopia, Niger, Mozambique, India and Pakistan are among the countries where the highest percentage or largest number of people cannot get clean water within a half-hour round trip. It also highlights the gap between rich and poor access to water.
