We recognise and thank Who Gives A Crap, Acqua for Life Giorgio Armani, the H&M Foundation and HSBC for their support of WaterAid globally.
Who Gives A Crap
Who Gives A Crap has created a range of toilet paper products where a percentage of their profits is donated to WaterAid. They delivered their first product in March 2013 after raising $50,000 to initiate the project through a crowdfunding campaign.
Acqua for Life
Acqua for Life is a comprehensive program that focuses on providing access to clean water, which has a positive socio-economic impact on communities’ health and livelihood. The Acqua for Life program helps install water points, latrines, as well as rainwater collection, water filtering and purification systems in areas that lack water, a natural element fundamental to life. Acqua for Life and WaterAid will work together to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, supporting three new WaterAid programs focusing on schools and health care facilities in Madagascar, Nepal and Papa New Guinea.
WaterAid and H&M are working together to bring sustainable water and toilets to some of the world’s poorest communities.
The HSBC Water Programme was launched in 2012 as a collaborative partnership between WaterAid, WWF and Earthwatch. It is now an eight-year $150 million programme, the impact of its work has been far-reaching.
We recognise gratefully the following companies who partner specifically to support WaterAid Australia’s work in Papua New Guinea, Cambodia and Timor-Leste.
