What our volunteers do

Our small but mighty crew will be cleaning toilets and water points around the show's arena, while raising awareness of WaterAid and the importance of decent toilets and good hygiene – for everyone, everywhere.

Volunteers will be responsible for:

  • cleaning the toilets and water points around the arena,
  • picking up litter,
  • topping up hand sanitiser.

What it's like to volunteer at Glastonbury Abbey

You'll volunteer for a maximum of six hours; the rest of the time, you're free to enjoy the event!

There's no WaterAid campsite at Glastonbury Abbey, but there are various local accommodation options (including camping) if you'd like to arrange your own.
