Great news! Whether you’re going to be splashing in a bath of baked beans or whipping up a storm in the kitchen, your generosity is going to change lives. Make sure to let us know about your fundraising by emailing us on [email protected], and we’ll be in touch to support you on your journey. We also recommend reading our fundraising guide and safe and legal guidelines to get the ball rolling.
If you're planning to raise money online, get started by setting up a JustGiving page – it's quick, simple and secure, and your supporters can donate in just a few clicks.
Once your page is ready, share it with friends, family, colleagues, club members, and anyone who might want to support you! You could also share it on social media, or in your email signature.

We'd love to send you some WaterAid goodies to help you with your fundraising. We have collection tins and buckets, banners, tablecloths, stickers and T-shirts, as well as sponsorship forms, leaflets and posters. Email us at [email protected] and we'll send them out to you.
If you've raised money on JustGiving, your job is done! All the online donations made to your fundraising page are automatically transferred over to WaterAid and allocated to your total.
If you've raised money offline, there are a number of ways you can pay it in.

Please also fill in a donation form with your name and details of your fundraising, and send it in to us. Otherwise we won’t know that the money is from you, and we won’t be able to thank you for your fundraising!

Find a local venue or host online from the comfort of your own home – try your hand at being quizmaster for the evening and put your friends' knowledge to the test!
Take on a challenge
It could be anything from a family walk to an epic cross-channel swim – create your own unique challenge, or sign up for an organised event.
Celebrate with us
Instead of receiving presents for your celebration, why not pass on the gifts of clean water, good hygiene and decent toilets to those who need them most?
Host an event
From supper clubs to film nights, gaming marathons to potluck picnics – host an event for your friends, neighbours or colleagues, asking for donations to take part.
Unleash your inner adventurer
Keep it local with a sponsored head shave, skydive or dance-athon, or venture further afield – previous fundraisers have travelled the world on tandem bikes, along rivers in canoes, and coast to coast on a unicycle!
Get crafty
Selling your homemade goods is a brilliant way of raising money. Over the years our supporters have raised thousands by selling jam, handmade cards, bath bombs and, of course, the humble cake.
Organise a collection
Ask your local supermarket, church or community centre if you can have a collection at the next big event, or host one in your workplace, school or on campus. We can supply you with tins and buckets, and tips on making your collection a roaring success.
Put your willpower to the test
Choose something you love, or a bad habit you'd like to kick, then give it up! The key is to choose something that's a real personal challenge – our favourites include no driving for six months, and going without cake for a year.
