Yes. When you donate on the WaterAid website, you’ll see ‘https’ in the address bar. This means the pages are hosted on an application which protects data securely. When you visit the page asking for your card details, the ‘https’ padlock symbol will appear in the address bar to indicate your information is secure.

We also place great importance on the security of your personal information and will always try to take appropriate precautions to protect it. We ensure that there are appropriate technical controls in place to protect your personal details. For example, we use encryption technology on our websites and carry out regular security reviews on our network.
