The Just Water challenge

After the over-indulgence of the festive season, January is the perfect time to give your body a fresh start!

Plus, getting sponsored for this challenge means the benefits will extend far beyond just you – you'll help us reach the 1 in 10 people around the world who don't have access to clean water. Are you in?

Not quite convinced just yet? Here are three good reasons to join us:

What your money will do

Right now, too many girls around the world are being held back by a lack of three basic essentials: clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene.

Girls like 12-year-old Puja, top of the class in her school in Lahan, south-eastern Nepal, are often late to school because they start their day fetching water for their family. Once there, they have to walk to a well to drink – but the water is dirty, so children are often off sick.

There’s only one working girls’ toilet, but with no running water, it’s all but unusable. Many girls have no choice but to stay home when they’re on their period, missing even more lessons every month.

Fundraise for Just Water this winter and we'll work with communities to install reliable water systems, build school toilets, and raise awareness of good hygiene and children’s rights – giving thousands of girls the opportunity to learn, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Please note: for most people drinking more water can only be a good thing, but if you're worried about how it might affect you then please consult your doctor.
