Event information

Challenge yourself to tackle one of Scotland's highest peaks while supporting WaterAid's vital work in Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills.

2024 Challenge postponed

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2024 Munro Challenge due to the worsening weather conditions in many locations across the country.

The strong winds, below freezing temperatures and low visibility forecasts pose many safety concerns. There is too much risk in hiking in these unsafe weather conditions.

We understand that this is very disappointing news, but the safety and wellbeing of participants must come first.

We are working to provide alternative date options and will be in touch with all registered participants with an update as soon as possible. If you do decide to complete your hike on Saturday 8 June, please know that in doing so the risk and liability will be taken on by you personally.

Thank you for your understanding, and please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
