How to take part

Why Stream for Water

703 million people – that’s almost 1 in 10 of us – don’t have clean water close to home. And 1.5 billion don’t have a decent toilet of their own.

Without access to these basic human rights, people are denied vital opportunities to go to school, stay healthy, and earn a decent living.

By taking part in Stream for Water, you can raise funds that will help us reach more people with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene – helping them to unlock their potential, break free from poverty, and change their lives for good.

Get started on Tiltify

You can fundraise for WaterAid on Tiltify at any time, but we’ll also hold special events throughout the year – keep an eye out for details!

The best way to get started is by creating an account on and using the software OBS.

Games, music, sports, art – whatever you choose to create! Please make sure your content is suitable for the audiences on your platform.

Anything you like! Video games, board games, card games or even garden games are all great ways to have fun whilst supporting our work. All we ask is that you consider the content of any games you play, and make sure you don’t stream anything goes against the user agreement of your chosen platform.

Not at all! You can also join us by setting up a Tiltify page and sharing with friends and family, even if you don’t want to stream.
