Get involved

We’re looking for passionate, enthusiastic, energetic WaterAid supporters to represent us at festivals in 2018.

This year we'll be bringing a new, unique toilet experience to UK festivals. Our 'Good Loos' pop-up will provide environmentally friendly, sustainable and memorable compost toilets complete with a chill out area with mirrors and sofas, so that festival goers can refresh before heading back into the fun.

We will need enthusiastic volunteers to help keep the toilets sparkly clean between uses and to interact with guests about WaterAid – spreading the word about our work towards making clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere.

In 2018 we’ll also be bringing a team of volunteer recyclers to festivals. As part of the festival’s recycling team, volunteers will be tasked with helping to keep the festival clean and tidy throughout the festival, litter picking in the main arena's and around the stages. We will need volunteers who aren’t afraid to get stuck in to help keep the festival tidy.

Please note: volunteering at a festival can be physically demanding. WaterAid’s volunteer roles are based in locations around the festival site and some include walking around large areas of the site throughout your shift. Poor weather can make moving around the site difficult. Please bear this in mind before applying – we want all our volunteers to enjoy their time at the festival!
